Nature of the services
Services may be provided as an independent contractor, project consultant or embedded IT specialist. The relationship does not create employment, partnership, representation or exclusivity unless agreed in writing.
Each engagement is governed by a proposal, statement of work or written agreement defining scope, deliverables, schedule, communication channels and fees.
Scope and changes
Work includes only the agreed activities and deliverables. Additional requests, unplanned integrations or changes affecting effort, risk or schedule will be estimated before execution.
Client collaboration—including access, information, reviews and approvals—is part of the schedule assumptions.
Fees, expenses and taxes
Amounts, currency, deposits, milestones and payment dates are stated in the relevant proposal. Third-party licenses, domains, cloud usage and gateway fees are excluded unless expressly included.
Each party is responsible for its own tax obligations. Work may be paused for overdue payments after notice.
Access, security and third parties
The client authorizes only the access needed to provide the service and retains ownership of its accounts and data. Least-privilege practices apply, and temporary credentials should be revoked when the engagement ends.
Vercel, Supabase, Microsoft, Google, payment providers and other platforms have their own terms and availability. dalijuarez.dev cannot guarantee third-party services outside its control.
Intellectual property
After full payment, the client receives usage rights to the custom deliverables defined in scope. Pre-existing tools, generic components, know-how, templates and third-party material retain their original ownership and licenses.
Confidential details, personal data and credentials are not used as public material. A case study only discloses previously authorized or general information.
Warranties and liability
Services are provided with professional care, and corrections are managed within the agreed period. No system can promise absolute availability, zero incidents or specific commercial results.
To the extent allowed by applicable law, direct liability is limited to fees paid for the service giving rise to the claim and excludes indirect loss, missed opportunities and third-party failures.
Termination and closing
Either party may end the service under the applicable proposal. Work performed and non-cancelable commitments through the closing date will be invoiced.
When applicable, closing includes delivery of agreed assets and available documentation, plus deletion or return of access administered for the service.
